The main building of the Bocskai Museum complex, consisting of several buildings, houses the permanent exhibition featuring a local history display presenting the history of Hajdúszoboszló. The exhibition is highly diverse, including a painting of Prince István Bocskai by János Szűts, as well as everyday objects, military relics, and personal artifacts of the town’s notable natives, such as Ernő Szép and Ferenc Pávai-Vajna. In the Machine Collection, visitors can see a private collection gathered over the years, including vintage cars, old motorcycles, bicycles, agricultural machinery (tractors), stationary engines (locomobiles), and various other everyday items and equestrian equipment.

In the Leisure Park, established on the site of a former campsite and covering 1,500 square meters, fans of active recreation can find a 162-meter-long BMX track, a roller skating track, and for younger visitors, a playground with a climbing castle, climbing walls, slides, suspension bridges, and a waterproof, in-ground trampoline.

When visiting Hajdúszoboszló, it is worth checking out the fully renewed Gázláng sports field, which offers opportunities for sports in a modern environment.
As part of the development, a 4-lane, 400-meter rubberized running track, handball and basketball courts, an artificial turf cageball pitch, a covered outdoor fitness park, parking facilities, and green space renewal have also been completed.

At the Outdoor Fitness Park, you can work out in Hajdúszoboszló at the end of Sport Street using 20 different exercise machines.
The outdoor fitness park is open all year round, every day from 8:00 a.m. until dusk for those who wish to exercise. The park’s equipment may be used at your own risk!

In the Upside-down House, walking on the ceiling can easily make you question which way is up and which way is down. A slight alteration in gravitational perception can also be experienced inside, which challenges your sense of balance and may cause mild dizziness. However, this should not discourage visitors, as experiencing the world upside down is a truly unique experience.

At the Hajdúszoboszló Airport, a 300-meter-long go-kart track awaits those eager to drive. Current races can also be followed on a monitor from the edge of the track, allowing spectators waiting nearby to enjoy the excitement. In the evening, the illuminated track welcomes visitors, offering the thrilling experience of racing under the lights.

At the Squirrel Adventure Park, visitors of all ages can test their skills on the forested obstacle courses. The one-hectare park welcomes children and adults from spring to autumn, offering challenges tailored to each group. Set in a natural environment and elevated several meters above the ground, the courses give every participant a taste of a true squirrel adventure.

The Hajdúszoboszló Sports Centre welcomes sports enthusiasts with four clay tennis courts and a covered artificial turf pitch suitable for tennis and football. Court reservations can be made in advance by phone or in person.

The Sáska Fishing Lake, located near Hajdúszoboszló, is an artificially created lake that offers fishing opportunities for both hobby and sport anglers in a peaceful, well-maintained environment. The lake is known for its abundant fish population, high fish density, and excellent water quality, thanks to continuous water replenishment.

The Déri Museum is one of Hungary’s most significant museums. In addition to its rich local history collection, it has become prominent through Frigyes Déri’s universal cultural history collection. Perhaps the museum’s most popular exhibition space, the Munkácsy Hall, features monumental works by painter Mihály Munkácsy depicting the Passion of Christ.

The Agóra Science Experience Center explains the wonders of everyday life in a way that is both accessible and engaging for everyone. As a unique center in the region, it offers an exciting adventure and a memorable experience for all ages. Agóra makes scientific knowledge and the marvels of our daily lives understandable and enjoyable. Visitors can try more than thirty interactive games and take part in extraordinary and spectacular experiments. In the tower of the three-story futuristic building, guests can observe the sky with the help of an observatory, studying the Sun, planets, and other celestial bodies. The ticket price also includes admission to the botanical garden.

The Great Forest Adventure Park is the green heart of the city, popular not only with visiting tourists but also with the residents of Debrecen. It offers engaging recreation, programs, and playgrounds for guests of all ages.

In Debrecen’s Nagyerdei Cultural Park, you can enjoy a two-in-one experience: explore the animal and plant life at the Zoo and have fun at the Amusement Park, all within the 17-hectare area.

Kerekerdő Adventure Park is located along the Zsuzsi Forest Railway line, at the Csereerdő stop, set in a picturesque woodland environment. The fairy-tale world spans nearly 30,000 square meters, offering both indoor and outdoor activities for all age groups.

Located within the Hortobágy National Park, the Wildlife Park allows visitors to encounter animal species that have been historically proven to inhabit the Hortobágy. The national park’s vehicle departs to the area every full hour and returns every half hour.

With nearly 270 horses, the Mátai Stud Farm is one of Hungary’s major horse-breeding centers, operating as a state stud under the management of the Hortobágy Nature Conservation and Gene Preservation Nonprofit Ltd. Horse enthusiasts are welcomed year-round with a variety of programs.

The renovated Hortobágy Narrow-Gauge Railway, upgraded for passenger transport, allows tourists to comfortably reach the more remote parts of the fishpond system while enjoying the unique landscape and the rich birdlife of the inner lakes.

The hospital at Hortobágy Bird Park is open to visitors and complemented by a showcase hospital, a bird rescue exhibition, and an eco-wintering house. Through a one-way transparent glass wall in the showcase hospital, visitors can observe injured, sick, or recovering birds, and those feeling adventurous can even watch a surgical procedure. The Bird Park also features a large aviary, lakes, and a playground-equipped relaxation area, warmly welcoming all guests.
